The 4th season finale of The Vampire Diaries, will air May 16th and is entitled Graduation.
Episode Synopsis: The fourth season ends on graduation day when ghosts overrun the town and try to settle old scores and fulfill their supernatural destinies. Meanwhile, Elena makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and confronts Katherine; and Stefan discovers a horrifying secret about Silas.

The CW Network has given early pickups to three additional dramas for next season, including the first new series order of the season with THE ORIGINALS, the highly anticipated spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, which was introduced during last night’s episode.
